JOHNSONVILLE, Last Night,

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report 011 their stock sale held at Johnsonvillo on the 3rd inst. as follows :—A good yarding of bullocks came forward and a fair 011 c of sheep. Beef sold very readily, prime making £lO 12s 6d to £lO 16s 6d; good, £lO to £l6 7s Gd; lighter, £9 2s 6d to £9 15s; a line of vealers averaged £2 10s apiece; wethers made 17s to 19s Id; ewes, 15s 8d to 16s 9d; lighter ewes, 15s 3d; woolly lambs, 12s lOd to 13s; good shorn lambs, 13s 4d to 14s sd. LONDON WOOL SALES. Messrs Abraham and WiiKuns, Ltd., have received the underm uitionod cablegram from their London agents under (late 2nd in°t.: '"Market firm, prospects steady. Ewes in lambs made from 8s to 12s Gd ; good woolly lambs, 10s ,6d to lis 9d; medium do, 9s 3d to 9s !9d ; cows, to £9 ss; draught horse, £ls.

WAIPOUA SALE. Messrs James Macintosh and Co. report on their Masterton sale held in the Waipoua yards yesterday, as follows : —We yarded over 800 head of sheep, and a small entry of All sheep, with the exception of low conditioned ewes in lamb sold readily tinder the hammer; and we succeeded in placing all the sheep with the exception of two pens of ewes in lamb at the following prices:—Fat wethers, 18s; fat ewes, 13s 6d to 13s lOd; forward ewes, lis 6d ; good shorn lambs,,los fid to lis 7d; cull lambs, 6s Gd to 7s 9d; low conditioned'ewes in lam:b, 7s 6d to 3s. Cattle : —Good daily cows in milk, and close to calving £7 to 11; August and September calvers, £5 7s 6d to £6 ss. Pigs: Porkers, 17s to 20s.

WOODVILLE STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows:—We had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. Sheep sold very well, as as £1 being obtained for a good lino of breding ewes. Cattle were dull of sale. Quotations: —2-tooth ewes in lamb, £1; mixed aged ditto, 12s Id; forward wethers, 15s lOd to 16s 3d; empty ewes, 10s Gd to lis; fat ewes, 15s; hoggets, 10s Gd to 13s Gd ; heifers 111 calf, £5 17s Gd to £6 6s; empty cows, £3 4s to £4 7s; fat cows, £4 16s to £5 3s.

PAHIATUA STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows:—We offered a very heavy yarding of both sheep and cattle to a large attendance of buyers, including numbers from the Manawatii and Wairarapa. There was keen bidding for sheep, all being sold at advanced prices. Cattle were represented principally by a large yarding of dairy heifers; the bulk of these were lacking in condition and were not showing sufficiently in calf, for this class there was not much demand. Good sorts met a good sale, selling at good prices, £8 15s being reached. Other classes of cattle sold well. Quotations: —Good young ewes in lamb, 17s to 17s lOd; good 4 and 5year old ewes in lamb, 15s 3d to 17s 3d; sound mouth ditto, 10s 6d to lis lOd; store ewes, 6s Gd to 8s 6d; medium hoggets, lis 3d to T2s 8d; others, 9s lid to 10s 9d; wethers, 14s 9d to 16s 7d; good dairy cows, £6 10s to £6 17s 6d; backward cows, £4 17s 6d to £5 10s; fat cows, £5 to £5 ss; empty cows, £3 4s to £3 13s; good heifers in calf, £7 2s 6d to £S 15s; others, £5 to £6 7s Gd; empty heifers, £2 7s Gd to £3 12s; 18-months steers, £3 to £3 6s ; mixed meaners, £2 3s to £2 17 ; others, 22s Gd to 335; bulls, £3 to £4 12s 6d.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., and Reduced, report as follows: —We had only a small entry of sheep and cattle. Prices for sheep were well maintained, but cattle were slightly easier, except for good farward dairy sorts, which were in good demand. The following prices were realised: —4 and 5-year ewes, up to 16s 3d; dairy heifers (good) £6 10s to £7 2s 6d; backward heifers, £5 to £6; dairy cows, £5 to £6; weaners, 30s to 40s.
