LONDON, July 3.

At tlicammzal meeting of shareholders ff Uic lViticiui Ikmk of Now Zealand, the Chairman stated that the Dominion was prosperous, but he urged caution on the part of the Government and of traders. Ho advocated a restriction in imports. A pause in cxpendltetie would, he said, fee beneficial, also a restriction in borrowing, however laudable and profitable the undertaking might be. An extraordinary meeting had approved an increase in capital. Though no immediate issue was contemplated, the increase was necessary, owing to the Dominion's growing requirements.
