FORGERS AT WORK.
(Received July 2, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 2:
A forged cheque for £SOO, purporting to be drawn fey a leadiug auctioneering firm, was cashed at a bank last week.. It was presented by a lady. Recently the police were anonymously warmed that a gang of expert American forgers would visit Australia.
