CONTINUATION CLASSES
A WANGANUI EXPERIMENT

WANGANUI, Last Night. The system of compulsory continuation classes was inaugurated to-day The,-experiment, whie/i is the first of the kind in Now Zealand, is creating much interest: Boys must attend the classes from 7 to 9 o'clock on Two nights a week, and girls from 2 to 4 o'clock on two afternoons per wee'v. The compulsion refers to those between fourteen and seventeen years of age who have left school during this year or last year.
