Tn the Censure debate, the Hon. A. Fisher resumed his reply toMr Dcakin'.s criticisms. He defended the Commonwealth Bank and the Land Tax. Tne Banl-'s circulation, he said, was moro than, double that of all privato banks, and produced a net interest of £IBO,OOO. The Land Tax had broken up 1000 large estates into 29,000 small farms. He further eulogised tho conduct of the Brisbane strikers.
