For New Soiutli Wales, Russell and Farns-•wo-rt-h replaced Broomham and Campbell. The gjraund was &!cppy. The New Zealand backs handled the greasy ball in ifche first half much better than 'tilieir opponents, and in the second 'half played a. spoiling gn.me> cf forward, kicking mostly.
