EASY VICTORY. AUSTRALIA BEATS SOMERSET. A TEN-WICKET MARGIN. EMERY AND McLAREN GET THE WICKETS. (Received Juno 22, 10 a.m.) 1 LONDON, -Jane 21. Australia defeated Somerset by ten i wickets. The match was resumed to-day in bright weather, and on ia fast wicket, There was an attendance of 1800. Somerset did much better than in the first innings. By lunch time they had three for 97. The best stand was made by Bisgood and Robson, who added 59 for the sixth wicket. The remainder added 30. Darnell (26) played ia careful and faultless innings, lasting seventy-five minutes. Bisgood was taken by Webster at short-stop off McLaren, after an innings of ,equal duration. His score of 41 included S four's. His cutting was excellent, but he made some lucky snicks. Robson was in forty minutes for his 35, Including six fours. Requiring 80 to win, the Australians wiped off the deficiency without the loss of a wicket. Miayne and Kelleway made the runs in sixty-five minutes. Kelleway, who made 34, showed some very good driving, and Mavne (42) made his score by all round play. Details: —
