THREATENED IN ENGLAND INVOLVING A MILLION MEN (Received Last Night, 11.5 o'clock.) LONDON, June 21. The Federated Employers have refused the demands of the shipyard workers for an eight-hours day, and increased wages for pieceworkers. A ballot will be taken, and it is feared that a national stoppage of work by 500,000 men is inevitable. This will involve a further 500,000 men.
