At the meeting of the Masterton Chamber of Commerce yesterday, a motion of sympathy was passed to Mr and Mrs Vivian Donald in the loss ■uf their son. The Hon. J. A. Gray, Government Auditor the New Plymouth district, was on Thursday found dead iying on a, shelf of the mass of rook overlooking the New Plymouth breakwater, nTtd known as Paritutu Sugar ,Loaf. He had been suffering from .serious prostration, and it is believed that he was seized with a fit of dizziness, while standing or sitting on the edge the rock. The deceased, who was 34 years of age, came from Dunedin, jwd joined the clerical staff of the Government Printing Office in 1901. Two years later ho was transferred to the Audit Office, and appointed to the Taranaki district.
