FIZZLING OUT.
The satisfactory, informaition is wmveyed in this morning's cables "that (the Loiidonj dock fctrike is fizzling out.' •The manifesto issued iby Mr Ben, TSt> jtatt, calling for a general strike, •has not met with a ready irosponse. iTlie wcrlkens naturally want to know wfliat it is all about. Jn many respects 'the strike in NeAv Zealand resembles that an (the Old Country. It has been : btought sihouit hy a pet of irresponsible agitators, witfliout rhyme -or reason. The average workdr has no syim•pa,thy wiith i|t, and it will fizzle out as surely as the-dock strike in London ds doing so. •
