MASTERTON "tCTURE COM PAIIY.

AT THE TOWN HALL.

The final production of 'the current programme of the Masterton Picture [ Company was presented to a good audience at the Town Ha,II last evening. "Ten Nights in a Bar-Room" •again attracted a great deal of attention, and the opplaiise which greeted every stage of the drama leaves 110. doubt as to the popularity of the film. Many regrets were expressed that this thriving moral drama, will not he 'shown again. The management en-' deavoured to procure the picture for a further' term, hut so great is the demand from other centres that it was impossible to procure it. A picture of great power, abounding in beautiful scenes and entrancing episodes, was the .military drama "The Altered Message." The staging, the acting, the ■scenery and dresses in this piece make it one of the finest productions yet shown in Masterton. The various other films shown included dramas, ficenios and screaming comics, making together ail excellent programme. The management will not show to-niglit nor to-morrow night. On Friday evening an excellent programme, including a mimiber ©f newlyimported films, wall be presented, and patrons may rest assured that their tastes ••will be catered for in the very i best .possible manner.
