CONTINUATION OF ENQUIRY

TiIR. WILDING'S EVIDENCE.

LONDON, June 9.

At t'ho Titanic enquiry, the evidence of Mange, who was assistant chef on the ill-fated vessel, was continued. The- witness said the chef was too stout, and declined Mange's invitation to jump when a boat was being lowered. None of the passengers were prevented from reaching the boat deck.

Mr Wilding, naval constructor at Harland and Wolff's yards, Belfast, said the Titanic's boats were strong enough to be lowered with full complements of passengers.

LONDON, June 9

Captain Rostrom, of the steamer Carpathia, which picked up the survivors of the Titanic wreck, received at Liverpool the Shipwreck Humane Society's gold medal.
