ANOTHER MASS MEETING.

.WAIHI, Last Night.
At a mass meeting of miners today, the attitude' of'it!he'Federationin- declining to accept the mine-own-ers' condition that the Miners' Union and Engine-drivers' Union must settle their own- difference {before a conference, could take place, was approved-. The following resolution, passed at the meeting, was handed over by -the chairman (Mr W. MoLennan) for publication, with, the statement that it had>heen carried without dissent: -—"This meeting of the Waihi Workers' Union resents and emphatically d nies the imputation circulated by (the capitalistic Press of the Dominion that the strike has beeni originated and is being conducted .by a few inclividuails, and considers that the allegation that the •wcirkers are being led an insult to the lntelligen'fc 'workers here."
