NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (Bu Telegraph—Prtu Aisociati6n.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. Tho Rev. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, thia evening issued the .following report :■ — The weatiher has been cold and changeable generally, with showers in parts, and with moderate to strong south-westerly winds. The barometer has 'risen, in the South, tout irisen and fallen again .slightly in -the Nartlh; \ ■ The present' iudieatio'ns are for strong southerly winds, generally cool and changeable, probable generally, with indications far fine weather fol J lowing shortly, although the conditions are not yet settled', either in the northern'' and southernmost districts.' The barometer will probably 'rise everywhere. , j
