EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE. The N.Z. iLoan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., .report on their usual fortnightly sale, held yesterday:—We offered a small yarding (of usheeip, and a fair entry of cattle. Shep sold at late rates.. Cattle were somewhat dull of sale. We qudtk,:— S.m. empty 10s 8d; forward cowa, £4 lis to £5; dairy cows, £4 12s 6d to £0; 'store cows, 30s to £3 10s; weaner calvesj, £2. ' Messrs Dalgetiy and Co. report on their Eketahunla sale as follows: A good yarding of sheep and a mediumi entry of cattle wais offered to a 'good attendance of buyers. 'Sheep sold readily, ©specialty good .sound breeding ewes,, and a good clearance all round w'ais effected at the following prices:— ISheep: Medium hoggets 8s '9d; good hoggets, 10s; ewe hoggets Ffco 10s 6cl; ewes in lamb, 9s to 14®. Cattle: Backward heifers in calif £3 "18s; forward heifei s in calf £5 10s; empty cows £4; Ifat and forward cows to £6 10s.
