SAUCE FOR THE GOOSE.
The logic of the Federation of Labour,, unconvincing though iit be, seems tfl have aroused the sympathy of the Hon. G. Lauren son, Miiniister of Lab-, our. The Federation thinks it nnjdemocratie and cruel that a small minority of workers' should be able to form a Union, as the Wlaihi enginer drivers have done, and Hr.d a .majority,, who have' cancelled their registration, t6 the awards of the Court. The (Federation p'rabaibly forgets that th ; s was a practice adopted by )its- own members when they were members of a Union'. It also forgets that it represents itself a minority of the workers of the 'Dominion, and yet it claims the right, by resorting to the \barbar- ! ous strike, to control the actions if I the majority. Surely what is sauce, for the Labour goose should be sauce for the Federation' gander.
