MONEY-CHANGERS NOTIFIED MAN NEGOTIATES SOME. OF THE PAPER. (Received June 6, 10 a.in.) SYDNEY. June fi. Unsigned bilk valued at £2OOO were stolen from, a bank in Pitrsliurg, America, in November last. The baalc ■despatched a. list of the numbers to tmoney-c'hangei-s throughout tlie world, and subsequently learned that the bills had been circulated in Europe and South America. An American tourisb cashed £SOO worth of these bills recently. A Cook and Son's man traced the tourist, and the local police cabled to America for instructions. These were not received in time, to prevent the suspect sailing fo.r Vancouver by the steamer Zealandia.
