The Glub held match.es on Monday, ;3rd Jaine, sparrows and clay birds ibeing used. 'Sevcmten smemibeiis competed. The sparrow maitch was divided be--1 tween Messrs T. Harvey and H. Fal'loon, first and tie, 'with 9 kills'.out of 10. Messrs H. Douglas, B. Buiclc •and J.vHarvey divided third prize. | The first shoot counting for the* Olub .championship (clay birds) was also got off, when tSie veteran, shot, v Mr A. P, Whatman, headed "the list •with 11 kills out ot 12. Messrs H. Fal'loon and F. Cooper filled the second and! third places respectively. A sweepstake completed the day's sport, nvihen Mr iomsi secured first, •waltfti Mr. King second. The day was unfeuitable for .shooting, with a- very strong wind blowing across the ground.
