THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. There' was another 'large attendance at the 'Foresters' Hall last evening., when-the current programme. wa>s again , presented. The* magnificent views in aind around I>.ike Waikaremoana charmed tire audience, which was loud in its praise of the beautiful pictures .placed before them, through the enterprise of '"Messrs Thompson and Payne. All the faihous waterfalls •audi bush! scenery are .pttesen'ted in- all their glory, the views of. the ', formei!' heing particularly good. .'. Lovers oit" ajenic'pictures arei advised not to .misis .this production, which is absolutely the finest evai' placed before piciture patrons in Masterton. Supporting (this big' attraction were a. number of first-class dramas, comedies and scenics. '"His Youngor Brother" was' tfhe star drama, and told a thrilling: tale .of the Soudan war. It was one? of tilie 'Vitagrwph Co.'s best productions. "The Oure of John Douglas" ■and "Dr Brian Pellie's Escape'-' were studies which were. imuch appreciated. The A.-B. comedy, "Got a 'Match" was a verj 4 amusing film. A picture showing the Abbey at Bamia, the largest in the world, wa«s a very interesting one: The remainder of the programme was nip to the firm's usual high standard.
