AT THE TOWN HALL.
Th* sale of work, "What the Moon Saw," was concluded at the Masterton Town. Hall last evening, and the efforts of the ladies who had the work in hand were crowned with -success. -The attendance during the afternoon wtad evening was again very satisfactory, and. all showed their appreciation ,'.,..<£ ,the"splendid.arrangeimeiit > <of the \'.. various stalls ■■■•which' looked almost as .- arbktic as on the first day. .Good hn.siaeas was done at the various ..'"><slaßH-.aud thepromoters of the move- -, .fctnen* have every 'reason to feel grati- ' -fied with the success which have ■greeted their efforts. The Rev. J. S. •Young, at the conclusion of the evening's entertainment, thanked all those -who had so ably assisted, including •the ladies, contributors to -the pro<gramffl«, and the Mayor, who had r »een responsible for the success of the function. He also thanked the "Press■■■for the publicity which' had been given. The Caledonian Pipe Band, I nrhioh had played selections each evening, he also wished to thank and 1 on the .splendid music, „ /which proved such an attraction..
