A pleasing ceremony took'> place at a meeting of the Wairarapa Amateur Swimming Club last evening, when the Club's captain (Mr A. D. Gillies), who is shortly to join the. ranks of the benedicts, was the recipient of a handsome silver fruit stand from the members of the Club. In making the presentation., Mr A.
