Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following report:— Misty and cloudy weather has been experienced, wivn rain in most parts of the (Dominion. The winds have been varialble, and moderate to strong, with a slowly .falling barometer; Present indications are for unsettled weather, cloudy and misty, with rain generally. The present southerly winds wiir pnahalbly back by wost to northerly again, and increase in force. A temporary rise m the barometer, preceding a further "Jail for more stormy weather conditions, which are likely to prevail for about four days.
