Mackenzie), in the presence of a large gathering af veterans, military aind settlers, unveiled a -cairn, in the Waipi cemetery and a anonummTin Victoria Park erected to Tomanemoraite the memory of (the sol--&&TS who fell in the Maori War. Addresses (appropriate to the occasion | -were made by Mr Mackenzie, the promoters of iihe movement, and Ministers of religion. The keynote of the addresses was the desirableness of still further cementing together the two rraes-s.
