Tallow: —Since our last cablegram prices are at par to 3d per cwt. higher. The market is steady, but is not expected to .advance much. Frozen Meat.—Beef: We quote New Zealand prime ox fores, 3fd|i hinds, 43d. Lamb.—We quote Canterbury and North Island light iarfd-heavy, 6£d per Lb. Mutton: We quote North Island heavy 3£d, light, 4id. Australian i prime crossbred mutton heavy \ light 33d. The demand for New Zealand mutton runs principally on light weights. The cause of the advance in frozen moat is owing to the difficulty in getting delivery 'on account of the strike.

Tho Ne-w Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report as follows : —We submitted a large yarding of sheep to a full attendance of the public. Late prices were well maintained, and we managed to quit most of the yarding at late rates:—2 and 4tooth wethers, 15s 3d; 4-tooth ewes, 13s; wether lambs, 10s 6d; ewe lambs, llg 9d ,* poorer, sorts, 7s 6d to 9s 6d; empty owes, 10s 6d to lis 6d. Dairy cows, £6 to £6 ss; weaners, 20s to 30s.
