CONFERENCE AT WELLINGTON.

WELLINGTON, Last Night, The Federation of Laibour Conference was continued to-day. Mr W. C. Webb presided. Ilhe official report of the proceedings is as under: — It was decided to receive a deputation from the •United La.bour Party at' n' o'clock'on Saturday moraing, and to hear a deputation from the New Zealand Socialist Party at •■ 2 o'clock that aifternoon.

The Board of Directors cf the "Maoriland'Worker" presented their, report and audited balance sheet, which...were adopted: Both weire considered emiinentry satisfactory. ' ; in connection with: the {roubles at Waiihii .and Reef ton, the following-re-solution was carried:— "That ' this conference of delegates assembled sende fraternal greetings to their ■Waihi and Reefton comrades, and congratulates them upon their' exhibition of class solidarity, and assures them of the loyalty of the organisation to thean an their time of tria'T with the opposing forces, and urges upon, tlhem to stand firm whilst the question, is being dealt with by the_ organisationi." Mr J. Roberts moved, the following resolution, which was carried uaniimouely:— "That .this conference <of •the New Zealand! Federation, 'of Lahour expresses its disapproval of the action of the JBritish Government in gaoling Mr Tarn. Mann for rightly falling upon. British soldiers to refrain (from firing upon. British workmen. To Tom Maim we extend our heartiest congratulations for his continued fearless advocacy of a revolutionary working class. The principles and seiitimenite ex pressed by Mr Tom Mann, in the. article leading to .his west meets with our entire approval ." The conference will he .resumed tomorrow morning.
