LONDON, May 23 The Times' Toronto correspondent states that the feeling in favour of adequate naval contribution has made striking .headway recently. After Sir Wilfrid Laufier's defeat and the apparent subsidence of the acuta feeling between Britain and Germany, Canada seemed to bo rciturning to the eld indifference. ---lt_i«--now appaj'-eiit -that the arguments in favour of ,nn Imperial navy have sunk deep into the minds of the people. The chances are that the ultimate policy will include a fleet of cruisers, naval colleges on the Pacific and Atalantic coasts, with battleshipcruisers and Dreadnoughts to give the navy an Imperial value, tihe whole constituting an integral portion of the Imperial fleet.
