NAPIER MAIL TRAIN.
It (55 gratifying to learn- that the shrewd and .business-like Minister of Railways has already recognised the absurdity of sending iblie Napier mail train' over /the Manawatu line, thereby congesting traffic on that line amd (robbing the Wairara,pa, of its legitimate service. The information, published this morning would indicate that ithe Minister intends reverting to the old order df things, and bringing the Napier traffic through the Wiaira;ra,pa. JKot oWly sq, but he intends "s.peecling-uip" the trains, so that the journey (between uVfastenton and WelOjington will! occupy iimich ' less time than at present. The prospect for the (future may therefore be sttid to be decidedly encouraging.
