HACK DEFINITION. . Hack means a horse that has not won at time of entry a race of the valine of 100 sovs.. or races of the collective value of 250 so vs. B-E-HANDiPArS. The winner of any race after the declaration of weights' shall be liable to he re-handlieappcd to the limit of: (a) In flat races a further IMb for one win, and 61b for every additional win , (b) in hurdle races a further 101b for one'win, and 71b for every additional RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Otaki, with name of horse, pedigree, and age, name of owner and trainer and colours of the rider (if not registered). 2. All entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing by first mail. 3. The stewards reserve the right to alifceir the date or time for receiving or acQptances or declaration of weights as they deem fit to do so.
