A PETITION TO THE CZAR PROOF OF HER NATIONALITY. (Received Last Night, 9 o'clock.) LONDON, May 21. In the House of Commons, Mr F. I). Acland, Liberal member for Cornwall-, stated that Miss Malecka had -been granted a fortnight in which to decide whether she will appeal. It Is understood that her counsel ip preparing a petition to the Czar. Russian authorities state that there is incontrovertible proof of Miss Malecka's Russian nationality, and state that the court made a mistake in. describing her as British. The Chronicle's Wansaiv correspondent states that the three Polish judges favoured Miss Malecka's acquittal, and four Russians voted her guilty.
