TO-DAY'S WEATHER
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph — Frets Atwciation .) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. O. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following report: — 'The barometer ibis's fallen everywhere during the .past 36 hours. The weather has been misty and cloudy at time's in the North, and cold and showery in the South. The winds have heen variable, but strong westerlies- haive predominated. Present indication's are for told and damp weather generally, and snow is probable on the 'higher levels in the South. The barometer is unsteady. A Ifurther fall, preceding a decided rise in the North, but a temporary rise is probable in the Sonth. Strong piorth-wcetorly, "and south-westerly winds are to be' expected L in more parts of the country.
