AUCKLAND, Urst: Night. • The operutiicms of the Strike C'ommiittee lof .the Waihi Miners' Union have extended to Paeroa, and the Waihi-Paeroa Gold Extraction. Company's wfcrks have, in ■consequence, suspended work temporarily. Apparently two officials iof (the AVaihi Unfton presented an ultimatum to the company, which could not be cbm(plicd with, and wh'on the manager of Ithe, Company's works at Paoroa refused the derrJancte, aiUout fourteen men knocked off work. The Cbnifpany therefore decided to enfipend opc-ra-forons for a few days, so as to re-or-ganise. New meta will be engaged.
