The Labour Council has aDpointod a deputation, to urge upon the Government the necessity for securing the passengers aind crews on vessels? a maximum of safety. Tho Sean en's Union delegate stated that the ships' boats were often had and tho accommodation insufficient, while life saving appliances.were conspicuous by thenabsence.
