A WOMAN'S DEATH
SENSATIONAL DEVELOPMENT. (By Telegraph — Tress Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night The inquest concerning the death of Helen Goscomb ended sensationally today, the woman's husband bei.>t* charged with manslaughter. The evidence showed that Goscomb and his wife had been continually drinking and quarrelling. On Sunday Goseombe bit his wife a, severe blow 23. the ehm. The woman's body was subsequently found in. an outhouse. Tho Coroner returned a verdict that the cause of death was heart fahurt, induced by a blow inflicted by l'rank Goscombe. The latter was then formally charged with rhanslaughter, and remanded until the 23trd.
