ENOE. The position in - regard to the Northern Approadh again engaged the, .attention, of the Finance. Committee of the Miasterton County Council yesterday .morning, as the result of a,n opinion received from the County Council's solicitor on the subject. After discussion, it was resolved, on tiho motion of C'r. Welch, seconded by CV. Kcbbell : "Ti'Jat in view of the County solicitor's opinion on t'ho question of the present po.sii.tion of the County and Borough Councils in. connection with the Northern Approach works, it lie a- recommendation from this Committee. to invito a conference with the Borough Council to reconsider the matter if-they wish to agree to any modification of the original scheme." It was nb:o further resolved, on the. motion of Cr. Murray, seconded by Or. Bcetham, "That, in the opinion of, the Committee, the invitation to the' Borough Council to attend a further inference on the subject of the Northern Approach. should bo convoyed to tlint bodv through the County solicitor."
