His Grace Archbishop Redwood yesterday celebrated the twenty-fifth anniversary of his .appointment as Archbishop. His Grace was ordained at Mnynooth in 1865," appointed Biahop of Wellington in 1874, and elevated to
the dignity,of Archbishop on May 13t3i, -1887. Owing to his. Grace's ah- ' Bence from Wellington, the jubilee

Mr John A. Clark, land agent, and n very old resident of Tauranga, died on Sunday (states a Press Association telegram). Mr F. M. Brodie, of the Bank of New South Wales' Gishorne .staff, is l>eing transferred to Hawera. and is to he succeeded (by Mi- B. F. Whitcombe, from Dainnevirke. \
Writing under date 2nd April, the London correspondent of the Evening Post isays:—Mr T. M. Wilford, M.P., as. so much benefited by his treatment .and the stay in the Pyrenees that lie has returned to London feeling fully fit for work, and is now very busy here. Miss Wilford, who came Home with (her parents to undergo treatment for 'her eyes, was operated on n few days ago", ai}d is now making good progress in a nursing home in London. Mr and Mrs Wilford a,nd their daughter lrnve for New York Sbv the Baltic on, the 25th April, and ■are due to reach Auckland on June 4th.
