HOARDINGS.
ITo The Editors} Sir,- A,ccor.dim,g to your report of the- proceedings cf the Trust Lands Trustees, held on Friday aright;, the manager of tilie Town Hall Picture Show was given permission to erect hoardings on the Trust Lands property, as they stated that no arrangements could be made with! tbe'vjjropirietor of the present hoardings, iNow, Sir, in fairness to myself, I am compelled to state that no attempt has been made at arrangement. They certainly asked me what I was charging Thcimipson-Payne. for the hoardings!, and were informed' 'what - the charge was for a temporary stand. Ais to making arrangements for a permanent stand, there was nothing .sai'd. It is- all the isame to me who I let my hoardings to—bait I must 'adopt the sound 'business principle of "first come first served/' and X would as cheerfully post bills for tlhe Town Hall Picture Company as any otlheir show; but, for 'some 'inexplicable reason, the management of that show seems to think different.— I am, etc., J. ARTHUR!.
