NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph—Preu Association.) WELLINGTON, Last NightThe Rev. D, C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following rep'ort:— Rain lias ..fallen on the eastern coasts of both Inlands, and showers arc still reported southward of East Cape. Cloudy, weather lias also predominated in many parts, and moderate to strong south-easterly winds have prevailed. Present indications are for southeasterly "Breezes generally, with fair to cloudy weather, aufl. misty at times on the East Oiast. T'he barometer has a' nr'ng tendency, but -is due to fall after from 21 to 18 hours in the Smith, for :J> extensive area of westerly low p'ressuro notv affecting the southern coasts of Australia.
