POXGAItOA STOCK BALE. The New /cm!and Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., 'hold their monthly sale in the I'ongaroa yards yesterday. There was ft fairly good entry oi sheep and ca title, although somewhat less than. Advertised numbers. All stock was keenly competed for, and sokl readily under the hammer at full market rates. There was a large attendance of farmers and buyers front outside districts. The following prices were realised :—2 and 4-tooMi wetßiers, to 13s 8d; empty forward ewes, lis; empty cull ewes, (is 2d ; lainbs (medium) 7;s 7d to 8s; weaner cattle, £1 3s Cd; yearling steers, £'3; yearling heifers, £3 3s; 18-inon,tllis steers, £3 Gs to £3 10s; empty cows and heifers, £3 10s to £4 10s. /
