The programme willl ho submitted'this evenmg for the last time, ami on Monday evening the management will present an entirely new programme, Including some .entiraiiclmg gems, of which "Fighting Blood" will «be the main/attraction.. Tlie usuiiil matinee take 9 place this "afternoon, and a> splendid programme wi/il be presented for tlie children.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. '.'Vanity Fair"- continues to be a favourite with lovers of cinematograph pictures in Mae.terton, and drew ato other paclwkl house at th'e Foresters' Ball lafet evening. This 'drama, is* such a delightful o„c thatit should not be missed. Ihc ta " o-raph Company have bandied Thackeray's work in, a skilful manner, and have produced an. excellent dramatization 'of 'Vanity Fair. The acting is splendid, the photography superb, and the picture its projected bn the screen utterly devoid of that objectionable flicker &o noticeable in inferior types of .pictures. This splendid drama was •supported by an excellent series, of dramas, seenics, comedies, etc. The children's matinee will take place thins aifternoon', and the programme will be s'likiwii for the last, time to-night. On Monday night, Messrs Thompson and Pa'yne will present another monster attraction!, viz., It s Nevei too Late to Mend.'' Til's picture has keen secured at considerable expense, and Mr Alt' lioothmwn, the well kniown Australian actor and elocutionist, has been •specially engaged to describe the incidents in tlie drai r.a 1 as thej an shown on the screen. Tim photo-play should indeed prove a treat to 'lovers of first cfa&s dramatic pictures.
