NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph—Preta Anociation.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological Offico, this evening issued the following report:— The hare-meter lias fallen everywhere, with easterly and southerly moderate to strong and squally in prevailed, with little ra'in at present.
Threatening conditions ..still continue 'in the 'North, and easterly winds, ktrong to- gale, are probable, northward of Kiftiwhia and iGcehorae, with cloudy weather aVad rain. Strong 'southerly .winds are to be expected 'elsewhere, with .cold, misty and cloudy and uns<ettled weather. The ba'rometer has a falling tendency everywhere, especially in the .ISorth.
