FINDING OF BODIES
SEARCH STEAMER SENT OUT

HALIFAX, May 7. The steamer -Mima lias arrived with •seventeen] bodies' recovered from the Titanic wreck. Sixteen of the number Iliad died from exposure four or five after .the sinking of the ship. The bodies were found miles apart.
The Calnadian Government has sent • a steamer to search for bodies believed to have drifted from the edge of the Gulf Stream into the cold water. EVIDENCE AT INQUIRY. (Received May '/., 10.50 a.m.) LONDON, May 7. At the Titanic enquiry, Beeebam, a 'fireman, stated that when the ship struck an order was given to stop the engines and stand by.
