A VOLUNTARY LEAGUE.
We a.re entirely at one with His Worship the 'Mayor on his suggestion that a Citizens' Voluntary League be formed in connection with the Territorial isystem. There are matay old and esteemed iriilitary men in this- district .whose services might, and should be availed of. These mien have many useful' years before them, and have Ithe credit of already having served for the Crown. The territorial system would ibe (strengthened by the addition to the ranks of.imen who possess the voluntary and disciolinarv instinct.
