ASSESSORS VISIT THE VESSEL A THREATENED STRIKE. '{Received Last Night, 11.25 o,'clock.) LONDON, May 7. The Mersey assessors visited tho Olympic and saw the boats lowered. ' A deputation from the sailors and firemen threatened to strike, unless the Peninsular Company employs two •efficient whites for each lifeboat.
