THE ENQUIRY CONTINUED EVIDENCE OF THE LOOKOUT; DIFFICULTY OF REACHING BOATS. (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.} LONDON, May 4. . At the Titanic enquiry, Jewell, on» of the lookouts of the lost steamer, testified that he received a telephone message from the bridge at 9.30 on Sunday night, instructing him to maintain a sharp watch for icebergs. He repeated the order to the relieving, watch.
Soarrott, a seaman., stated that ifc was difficult for third-class passengers to reach the boat-decks, two ladders being the only means of approach.
