The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from J heiv London House under dato Ist in.st. : Wheat:—Sold at 403 3d an Australian cargo. There is very little demand owing to increased supplies and the outlook is uncertain. We quote per quarter, c.i.f., New Zealand wheat, long-berried, 38s; •short-berried 37s 6d'. Tallow :—We quote present spot values for the following descriptions of tallow :—Good mutton, 36s per cv-t; good bed", 3-1 s fld per cwt; mixed, 32s 3d. The market is firm.
