The change of programme submitted was of exceptional merit, and tho pictures drew unstinted applause. The star film, depicting "the Frontier of Tripoli." was shown for a first time in th« Wellington Province, and was a revelation of the scenes of tho Tripolitan crisis. A story, drama of exceptional merit, entitled, "TwojGun,.'Mail," was well received. Tho two gigantic bidgraph films wore supported by tli« following splendidcombination, "For His Son" (A.8.), "Mrs Sims serves on 'the Jury" (Kalem), '-'Tillie's Uncle Flirts""' (Hcpwix), "Bill as a Vet ,? (Lux), "Many engagements" \(S and A), "Tho Three Balls" (Champs). The.management notify that a matinee will be held on Saturday afternoon, at 2.15 o'clock; whon, children and adults will bo admitted at very moderate prices.

Tho great Scligdrama, "The Two Orphans," drew a packed house at tlu* Foresters' Hall last evening. Tho picture is undoubtedly a wonderful one, and is surely the high water mark in ; the possibilities of,the cinematographic; art. An enormous amount of monoy , must have, been spent on tho production, and one would wonder how it paid tho Sclig company to put out such an elaborate, picture. When, however, we i-ealiso that such a film in viewed by millions throughout the world, we can gain some littlo idea that, the call on such a picture must ho very great and that it is tho quantiiy of films turned out that-mako such an elaborate production possible. " Tho pathetic story of tho t.Avo orphans quite captivated the audience, who greeted each scene with rounds of applause. The photography was splen--did, the scenery-superb, and the acting of the highest .standard, while the picture was projected on the screen with rock steadiness. There was also shown a. series of first-class pictures. A much appreciated military drama was "The Little Spy," produced by tho vitagraph company, and.showing how a imv's bravery saved his father's battalion from annihilation. The A. B Company have a. splendid story of true Christianity in -a- drama entitled "The Old Bookkeeper.", "The Heart of NieheUe" was a pretty little Edison drawn, while "The Fishernuud ol Ballv David" (a Kalem drama) p eased the audience very much. The sp.endul comedies were also shown viz.: -Hnve ■...,! Hold" (by tho A.B. ('onion nv) "Hypnotising the Hypnotist ' K'itV'raph)', and "Dark Deception : (Lubin). "Buffalo Hunting" was a-ti exciting picture. A number of other s-'iiics, comics and interesting studies completed a programme that enn he thoroughly r.ecommciuled. Messrs Thompson" and Pavuo uotify their patrons that "The Two Orphans" can onlv ho shown again to-night and tomorrow night, and recommend them not to miss this splendid drama.
