The Avondale Jockey Club's autumn imeotin.g was concluded to-day, in showery weather. There was a large attendance. The going was fairly heavy. The sum of £17,482 'was invested on the machine, as compared with £9674 10s last year, making, a total of £23,494 for the meeting, as against £31,329 for last year's two days. Results : •Nursery Handicap.— Semolina 1, Yhi/t- Patoa 2, Lamnacost 3. Flying Handicap.— Waiowera 1, First Bond 2. Solitude 3.
Maiden Hurdles.— Nape Nape 1, Pip 2, Sphinx 3. Autumn Handicap.— Sea Eli and Gloy (dead heat) 1, Royal Soult 3. Dominion Handicap.— Red Lupin 1, First Boy 2, Cloudy Dawn 3.
