DAM COLLAPSES SCORES OF HOUSES LEVELLED, i (Receivcl April 26, 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, April 25. At Syracruse, New York, five hundred villagers are homeless, owing to tho Milleville dam collapsing and releasing a lake two miles long. The flood swept all before it ir the valley. Scores of houses were levelled. A telephone girl stayed at her post and warned all the subscribers. Eveiyone fled and all were saved. Three power plants were destroy**!, and two other dams carried off.
