A* t'lio householders' meeting held on Monday la.vt, i>he following memliers were elected to serve oh tlio School Committee for the c-nsiiiuga; year.— Messrs' H. J. Dtigg, M. J. Blake, F. W. Wood, Geo. Fcrd, and Chas. Oliver. At .the meeting" of the uowly. elected committee, Mir. H. J. Dagg was re-elected 'to the chair. Wise, PattJo, the (local teacher, is Ictt'V'ing at an early date to take charge cf the Normaudale School. Mr G. .H. E<alph., amv at&aamders School, has foe en appointed to fill i'he local vacancy. Mir J. B. Knumott, secretary to .the A. and. P. Association, who is canvassing the aistirkjt, is at .present lie Id up by wet weniOier, his motor car being stuck in a i-llp. Surveyors are at present engaged in emitting up into tinaJJ sections some two thousand acres of pasture land, -which, I understand, -will be thrown open for pntilio selection in the near future.
