TO-NIGHT,

I At the Town Hall to-night, the (Norwoods „and Von Arx Huge Combined Shows will appear. The Evening Post (Wellington), referring to a recent entertainment in Wolliugon, said:—"The part of the entertainment which rivetted the attenion of the audience, and at the same time caused the greatest amusement, was the hypnotic seance, in which, the Pro feasor 'operated' on a committee of men in ■such a manner as to call forth the most uproarious laughter.' It is said that "Everywoman" unfolds an enchanting story, and contains .magnificent imaisic, sparkling dialogue, impressive acting, and magnificent stage settings. • Judging from reports from America and .Australia, iMigiS Hilda Sppng, who -take& the title role, has developed her early 'talents. American jpaipers to hand still mention her as being one of the best American actresses < whilst in Australia she was criticised as a brilliant, [fascinating, lovely and Finished artist." The role of "Everywoman" gives Miss Spong every opportunity to display her varied ibis-'tr ionic abilities. (Mr William Desmond, the notable American actor, who starred with' Miss Katherino Grey in "Tho Lion .and the Mouse," and "The Third De- ' Igree," will tako the important part of Nobody, wQrich, it is stated, gives ihim further-opportunities to 'exhibit jMs -talents. Mr George Miller, one of America's leading comedians, will snake his debut here in the character of "Bluff," and Mise' Elsie Caren®, -a.nlOther new artist, will appear as Youth. Playgoers will be glad to welcome Miss Emma, Temple, who in, the part of Truth has added another triumph rto her long, list of successful ohanurterisutions.
